Bribe me, one Judge has on his shirt, Concourse d’Lemons is one event that the car owners are encouraged to bribe the Judges. It’s all in fun when people bring out their outrageous cars that “well... might not be so hot to put it politely” to be judged as the worse car of the bunch.
Concourse d’Lemon, car oddities that will delight all
Concourse d’Lemon is an absolute must see event during Monterey Car Week it’s always a blast going to this event and you can’t beat the admission price to get in, it’s free to attend.
The cars can be just about anything as long as it’s a car that pretty much no one would not want to drive. There are a diverse collection of cars at the event that the manufacturers had high hopes of being popular and making them lots of money but it didn’t quite turn out that way, remember that pinto that you didn’t want to be behind while driving down the road.
Some of the cars were just real funky like the car that looked like an egg with wheels and some that were very interesting to see like a model T roadster with bull horns or that car that Wayne Carini from Chasing Classic Cars drove in to the event, it looked like it had an inch thick of dirt on it except a 6” or so clean spot on the windshield where he could see out while driving in. A lot of the car owners would be in character to match their car.
