Vacaville Car Cruise
It’s about community…
As things are starting to heat up here in California so is our car event season, just a little different from the normal park all day classic car event that we normally see to more of a cruise event like the Vacaville Car Cruise over the weekend, this Vacaville cruise was a little different that most car cruises recently. The car culture and car enthusiasts in general are very community oriented it was evident at the Vacaville Cruise, the owners of these cool classic rides didn’t just go up and down the street or take a long trip in to the country side which is cool and fun, this cruise wasn’t only for the classic car owners to get out and enjoy their rides. This cruise seemed to be mainly for the community.
California is still not fully opened up yet and the community is not able to have normal car shows or any mass get togethers due to the COVID-19 crisis through out CA. So the classic car owners brought out their cool rides and drove to the people, they cruised them downtown and though out the city and neighborhoods as the residents came out to cheer them on along the route.
There was a nice variety of cars from area car clubs like the Vacavillians and Skulls among others, all in all there looked to be about 100 cars at the event as they cruised around Vacaville and stopped to have lunch and supported their community while social distancing of course, everyone had a great time not only the participants but the spectators as well, congrats to the organizers for putting on such a nice event for their community
